In our first Sunday tournament, Kenny Leseur blitzed Belmont Hills for a 1-under par round of 69! Well done Kenny! As a reminder for those who may not be aware, Kenny is still just 11 years old.

In the Red Tee divisions, Spencer Young took the honours in the 18 hole group with a round of 93, closely followed by Ryan Clements on 97. Kian Mooney led the way in the 9 hole group with a fine round of 47. Matthew Ingelman was second on retrogression over Benjamin Betschart on 56.

The full scores on can be found HERE.

Sunday play again this weekend, this time at Turtle Hill. Go out and enjoy the Louis Vuitton World Series Event and then come and play golf afterwards!

Results from the first week of BJGA play are posted on the tournament page. Congratulations to Ethan Sousa for the low score on the day. Welcome to William Nokes who was playing this first BJGA round and will be in the 9 hole group and also to the newly promoted Nicholas Weikl who is up from the Intermediate Group.

Next week the BJGA is at Ocean View with tee times starting at 3:00. Registration for next week will close on Thursday evening. We will need a starter and marshals for this week - please sign up on our Sign Up Genius Site - link is on the tournament page and is also HERE. If we do not have a starter and at least one marshal signed up by Thursday evening, we will need ot consider cancelling play.

You will have hopefully noticed that this website is different to the one you looked at last week - welcome to the new BJGA website! Before we start, a huge thank you to James Birch at Fireminds Ltd. for overseeing the rebuild of our website and to Erich Hetzel for his hard work and support to get us to this point.

What's new? To start with, hopefully you all agree that the site looks and feels cleaner than the old site. Behind the shiny bits, we have some new features on the back end to make our communication with you easier. As with all websites, this site will only be as good as the content put into it, so we have much work to do to keep it current and and relevant as the main source of information for the BJGA.

What does a new site mean for me? Soon after you admired the shiny new home page you may have tried to log into the site and received a frustrating error message. With the rebuild, we have taken the opportunity to clear out a few of the bugs in the original coding and database (mis)management. What that means is that ALL new and returning members must re-register for the new site. The two step registration process is set out on the Programmes page  and will also be set out in a front-page news article once we are ready to open the registration. For returning players, once you have done that bit, the functionality of the site should become familiar to you. For new players, see the Programmes page for more information on next steps for you.

I loved the old site, how will I ever learn the new BJGA site? Actually, other than the look, most of the functionality of the site is the same for the users; the weekly visits to the site for tournament registration/tee times and results for the tournament player groups will continue.

Registration for the 2016/17 BJGA season is now open by clicking here. The minimum age is 8 years old, however, we will accept children as young as 6 years old provided they can participate appropriately (be attentive and behave) in a group lesson for 45 minutes without constant supervision (we ask parents to be honest - can my child participate appropriately or is it better to wait a year?).  Please email This email address is being protected from spambots.
