The Bermuda Junior Golf Association is sending three players to represent Bermuda in international junior golf events this summer. The details for the events are set out below -

Junior British Open - July 11-13 - Kilmarnock (Barassie) Golf Club, Troon, Scotland

12 year old Kenny Leseur is en route to Scotland to participate in the Junior British Open hosted by the R&A. There are 142 competitors from around the world participating in this event, which has a cut after the second round. This is Kenny's first time in the United Kingdom and he is one of the youngest competitors in the field. Website for the event is: if you would like to follow Kenny's progress.

Optimist International - July 20 - 25 (12-13 division) and July 30 - August 4 (16-18 division)

Venue - PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

Kenny Leseur will compete in the 12-13 boys division. Mikus Ming (2015 and 2016 Junior National Champion) and Dakota Lamb (2016 Junior National Champion Medalist and runner up) will compete in the 16-18 boys division. Elizabeth Parsons was selected for the 15-18 girls division but was not able to go due to a scheduling conflict.

This will be Mikus' first time at the Optimist while both Dakota and Kenny competed last year. The website for this event is: if you would like to follow our juniors.
